The distorted, slightly echoed vocals really added a unique vibe to the song that blended really well into the whole grunge stylings of the music.

But the guitar tends to get drowned out by the drums, which in turn get drowned out by the vocals. A bit of mixing would turn this from a good song into a great song.

The organ added a very cool vibe, and the distorted vocals definitely gave you a very different sound to the rest of the bands in the punk portal. Great stuff.

The change into a somewhat softer style, with a greater emotional attatchment to the vocals was a great way to add some variety to the general punk sound that you guys play. Staying in the same sound, but changing it just enough to make it feel significantly different is a difficult thing to do, and you guys pulled it off well.

Vocals worked nicely too, although sometimes they would drown out the instruments playing in the background . I especiially enjoyed the opening solo.

I'm glad to see the improvement in the vocals over the years though. A funny throwback to Soylent green like themes.

The guitar work was great and the vocals were perfect punk. I felt since there was the bass solo toward the end, the bass could have been more audible throughout the song though. Still 5/5 and downloaded though.

Once again, vocals and instruments came together to make a great sounding song, I just felt it could use a bit more of a rock vibe to it. Nonetheless, near perfect.

Just don't be afraid to edit the sound of the vocals in the editing process (as I assume you would with the intruments). The vocals would be okay in a live setting when its all louder, but without proper mixing it just doesn't sound like album material. The song seems to lose its tempo in the moments when you try to speed it up and it just falls apart. A good start, but theres a ways to go yet.

Thanks for the review! Rest assured, we're doing all that and more, now that we're actually doing the recording and mixing ourselves.

I don't know what the author's comment is about really, lol. Everything blends together perfectly and the song stays true to the Ska genre, the horns are perfect and the vocals are awesome, love the echo effect employed there.
